Betolar Sidestream analysis
Betolar's years of development work, uniquely broad expertise and practical experience are combined into a new easy-to-buy service.
Betolar is a European, globally operating company that develops a cement replacement material called Geoprime®. With Geoprime® solutions can be produced with up to 80% less carbon dioxide emissions than using conventional cement.
Local sidestreams are an important material flow in the production of Geoprime® – and therefore green applications. Their use is environmentally friendly and strongly supports the Sustainable Development Goals.
The preliminary study of the sidestream creates an understanding of whether the material being studied is suitable for green concrete solutions, or potentially for some other use cases.
We test the chemical, physical and strength development properties of the material. As a result of the study, you will receive a report in which we compare the performance of the material with cement standards, as well as the most common cement substitutes.
In addition, the study aims to identify the most common commercialisation business risks. These may be related to, for example, the need for pre-treatment or harmful ingredients.
