Betolar Plc: Jyri Talja has been appointed as Chief Growth Officer and invited to join the Management Team
Jyri Talja has been appointed as Betolar’s Chief Growth Officer and invited to join the Management Team as of 23 April 2025. Talja started working with Betolar as a Director of New Solutions in December 2024. He brings extensive experience in international sales, various material flows, and the handling of circular economy materials. He holds a Licentiate of Technology degree from Aalto University, with a major in metallurgy and materials processing technology.
Talja has held positions in several international companies, including Sweco Finland Oy, Kopar Oy, Kumera Oy, and Kuusakoski Oy, Patria Oy, and several companies within Outokumpu Technology (later Outotec Oyj). Most recently, he served as the Business Unit Director in the Industry and Energy Division at Sweco Finland Oy. Previously, Talja has been the Sales Director and Deputy CEO at Kopar Oy, the Director of Marketing and Technology at Kumera Oy, the Chief Technology Officer at Kuusakoski Oy.
Tuija Kalpala commented: Talja will complement the Management Team bringing a strong technical and commercial expertise. His role will be pivotal especially in the commercialization of the new metal extraction method and green cement.
